After 26 years in marketing and various roles in Corporate America, and battling stage 3 cancer in 2011, Julie retired and started a photography company and doing pottery as a hobby. Several years later she started a pottery company (Cleveland Kilnworks) and began pouring candles into these unique pottery vessels. After years of perfecting candle making, in 2022, Chagrin Falls Candle Company was formed.
